Registration is $155 for first time scouts which includes the $130 annual registration fee and a one time $25 fee. Pack Dues are $30 per month.

Our pack meets every Monday night from 6:30 to 7:30 at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Tempe. We also have outings or events once or twice a month.

Attendance on Monday nights is essential to the program. During the school year this is when we work on rank requirements. If a Scout misses a Monday meeting, there will probably be some homework assigned. The outings and events are not usually fulfilling a rank requirement, although we do often earn a patch or other award for going. That being said, nothing is required, only encouraged. We really are an active pack and we do a lot of fun things. We understand it is a busy schedule and not everyone will be at every event. That’s okay. Come to the ones you can!

If you are a parent of a Lion (Kindergarten) or Tiger (1st grade) you, or another responsible adult, is required to be at every meeting and event with your child. If you are a parent of a Scout older than 1st grade, we highly encourage your participation in this program with your child, however, we understand that sometimes things come up and a parent cannot be there. We also have many volunteer positions that we need to fill to keep our pack running smoothly. If you are interested in volunteering at any point, please let us know!

Almost everything we do is appropriate for all family members; the only exceptions being Council Sponsored camps and the occasional hike which may not be appropriate for younger siblings. Families are always welcome.

Yes. We participate in council sponsored fundraisers to help keep monthly dues affordable and to help scouts earn their own way to summer camp. Many scouts who participate in the fundraisers earn enough money to pay for summer camp, uniforms, and monthly dues. Additionally, we take advantage of financial aid available through the council to assist some scouts with the cost of summer camp.

You are more than welcome to attend meetings and events with your child as a visitor to find out if this pack is a good fit for your family.

Yes! We structure our pack program so that every boy earns his rank between the months of September and February. There will be some homework assigned by the den leaders. There are other awards and electives that can be done outside of den meetings too. You can do as much or as little as you want to.

Our pack does not have boundaries. If you are willing to drive to our meetings, you are welcome to come.

Class A uniform shirts are recommended but they are not a requirement to be in scouts. They do cost around $50 with all the patches. We encourage boys to have them and wear them with pride, but not having one will not keep him out of Scouts. Sometimes, there are events that require a uniform, but they are few and far between. Other pieces of the uniform (pants, belts, hat) are additional costs. A rank handbook is going to be very helpful for keeping track of his progress. The handbooks are relatively inexpensive at under $25.
